I’m Warren Buckley, a new Colorist who’s just finished work on his first project, a documentary short, Auspicious.

Why a Colorist?

I’ve always been interested in film, video and home theater, finding it difficult to pass a screen without fixing the settings and color, like how I calibrate my setup at home. At friend’s homes. And every hotel I have ever stayed at.

For over two decades, I’ve provided Mac and tech support to designers and artists, making sure their technology behaved so they could focus on creating their work. Then as a User Experience Designer for the past fifteen years, I’ve developed a solid understanding of how people view and interact with screens and interfaces.

I’d like to use all of these skills and interests, as part of a post-production team, assisting with the finishing details needed to make a film or tv project the best it can be.
